It is a polymer modified, White Cement-based thin-set tile adhesive for fixing ceramic, semi-vitreous tile, vitrified tiles & small to medium format natural stones. It is suitable for horizontal surfaces and vertical surfaces up to a height of 3 meters, over the cementitious substrate for indoor application in dry as well as wet areas. It is also recommended for Tile-On-Tile application.

SURFACE PREPARATION :
All surfaces should be between 40° F(4°C) and 104° F(40°C) and structurally sound, clean and
free of all dirt, oil, grease, loose peeling paint, laitance, concrete sealers or curing
compounds. Check the surface to be true to plumb.
All slabs must be plumb and true to within ¼” (6mm) in 10 ft(3m). Rough or uneven concrete
surfaces should be made smooth with Screed/Plaster material to provide a wood float (or
better) finish.
Dry, dusty concrete slabs or masonry should be dampened, and excess water swept off.
Installation may be made on a damp surface. New concrete slabs shall be damp cured and
28 days old before application.
Expansion joints to be provided & filled with suitable sealant.
Do not cover expansion joints with thin set tile adhesive/ tile.

Grouting should be carried out after 24 hours of tiling. Use the appropriate grouting material

For 20 Kg bag of TileStix Vitribind, one needs 5.2 to 5.6 Liters of water. Mix water depending upon
the consistency of mix required and ambient environmental conditions.
The maximum size of ceramic / vitrified tile is 600mm X 600mm for installation with TileStix Vitribind
+ water. If you are installing tiles larger than this size ask Birla White team member for a suitable
adhesive
For external tile installations, the thermal stresses are critical and would need adhesive to become
accommodative to the movements arising from these stresses, Use TileStix Extero to install tiles on
external surfaces.
When you want to install Natural stones with TILESTIX Vitribind and above or seek advice from Birla
White team member.
The maximum height is 3 mtrs / 10 ft when you want to install tiles using TileStix Vitribind. For
installation of tiles more than 3 mtrs / 10 ft height, please seek advice from Birla White team
member.
If the engineered stones / Agglomerates / Quartz stones have to be installed on floors, you can’t use
